Don’t forget about mobile devices
Mobile devices are the most common device that provides a gateway for users to the Internet. According to the author, 96% of the world’s population can access a mobile network. Designers and writers must create and use websites responsive to mobile screens when working for an online audience. If not, you’ll fail to reach some foreign audiences because your audience can only access your website on your phone. And if the mobile version doesn’t work, they will be unable to use it. For example, my mom often has trouble accessing the Walmart website on her phone. Instead, she prefers using her laptop when shopping at Walmart online. If she only had her phone, she would be stuck using the Walmart site.
One may argue that my mom could use the Walmart app designed for mobile use. In theory, that would be the best option. Although in her previous experience, the app wasn’t always easy to operate. So, she stopped using the app. Designers should greatly emphasize the quality and functionality of an app to retain and gain and retain users. Quality and functionality are especially true with users in another culture. They interact and perceive the world differently than you. This also applies to apps or any other product.
